Anna Shannon Cardwell, born August 28, 1994, is the eldest daughter of “Mama June From Not to Hot” star June Shannon.

Anna had a very difficult childhood: when she was little she was raped by one of her mother’s boyfriends, Mark McDaniel – who is also the father of one of her sisters, Jessica.

June, according to her mother in “eternal denial”, did not believe Anna when the girl revealed the rape. In an interview, June claimed to know that “something happened”, but without citing or accepting the violence suffered by his daughter – although McDaniel himself confessed to the crime upon arrest. June has even met Anna’s rapist a few times when her ex-boyfriend left prison.

Anna was then raised by her grandmother, June’s mother, who reported Mark to the police.

Anna Cardwell also accused her mother of stealing some of the money she had in a personal fund, but was reimbursed by June and everything seemed to settle. Nevertheless, Anna also stated that her sisters and mother were not looking for her.

Anna has been separated from her ex-husband Michael Cardwell since April 2017. According to her Facebook profile, she lives today with her two daughters, works as a cashier at Walmart, and dates a man named Eldridge Toney.
