This week, in a special episode of “Kate + 8”, Kate Gosselin’s older daughters, Mady and Cara, head for college.

However, apparently, the way the girls treat their mother did not please the fans. And in the face of comments like “girls are so mean to you” and “they disrespect their mom so much that it hurts to watch”, Kate decided to express her support for her daughters.

“I love these kids fiercely.. and I don’t apologize for my tears”, said Kate. “Times have been so tough and so needlessly unfair for them. Despite it all, they’ve turned out to be such wonderful amazing human beings.”

Remembering that two of Kate’s children, Collin and Hannah, live today with Jon Gosselin.
