This week Maddie Brown, daughter of “Sister Wives” star Kody Brown, announced something quite painful.

“Our beautiful baby, Evie, was diagnosed with FATCO syndrome,” Evie explained. “It’s a rare syndrome where the bones of the extremities don’t fully develop.”

Maddie also said that this was not a complete surprise, since during pregnancy it had already been found that the child had less than 10 fingers – and after birth, 3 fingers were missing, one of the foot and fibula, and other related problems.

“We hesitate to publicly share Evie’s condition for fear of jokes and virtual bullying”, Maddie said. “But she’s is healthy in every other way aside from the missing bones.”
