Born June 10, 1966 in New York, she is the daughter of Nicholas and Veronica Brigandi and has a brother named Michael.

Her reality show, “A Medium”, has been aired by TLC since 2011. Theresa is still the author of two books.

However, Theresa Caputo is far from unanimous. Many people accuse her of being a fraud and a charlatan.

In April 2012, she received the “Pigasus Award,” an award offered to parapsychologists, paranormals, or fake psychics.
